Police

Effective communication is a critical component in any business’ success. In a complex public service, such as law enforcement, it is even more important. The Bannockburn Police Department is committed to using every available tool to communicate and share information with you, our customers.

The highly trained, well-educated, skilled and disciplined officers in the BPD are dedicated to enforcing the law to protect life, property, and reduce the fear of crime. Our professionals recognize the importance of answering calls for service in a timely and courteous manner. Every day, they demonstrate leadership, teamwork, open communication, and loyalty, and work to maintain mutual trust within the police department and with the Village. Uncompromising integrity and fairness in all aspects of police service and protection is our goal.

Bannockburn is fortunate to have a low crime rate, making it one of the safest communities of its size in the nation. One reason for this is the partnership the Police Department has with Bannockburn residents, which is based on good communication and mutual respect.
